Hi I'm going to be doing a service on my mk2 punto and was wondering whether anyone knows where abouts the fuel filter is ? Have read on internet that the fuel filter isn't serviceable could anyone help :s
Your fuel lift pump will be mounted on the engine and connected to the primary fuel filter. Begin pumping the lever or plunger while keeping an eye on the bleed screw. You will see bubbles form as air leaves the system. Use your rags or other absorbent material to sop up the fuel as it bleeds out. When clean, bubble-free fuel is all you see
Then you must bleed the high-pressure fuel system, which is done by loosening the union nuts between the top of the fuel injectors and the fuel line; it just takes a turn or two. Once loosened, use the starter to crank the engine for 10 seconds. If fuel fails to make an appearance at the unions, wait 60 seconds (to allow the starter to cool
