For any iPad model with a Home button, press and hold the Home button and the power/lock button until you see an Apple logo to hard restart the device. When the iPhone or iPad boots back up, touch input should work again as expected, at least for a little while. It appears that the more apps you use, the quicker the unresponsive touch screen
I recently (a month or so ago) updated my Windows 10 Asus Vivobook to Windows 11, and I estimate it to be around then when I noticed my touchscreen failing to work. The touchscreen driver states the following under events: Device settings for HID\ELAN2097&Col01\5&3424e359&0&0000 were migrated from previous OS installation.
First, hold and press the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the slider appears. Second, slide to power off your device. Finally, turn it back on by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until you see the Apple logo. In many cases, the touch screen will work as usual after the device reboots. Solution 2.
Select the arrow next to Human Interface Devices and then select HID-compliant touch screen. (There may be more than one listed.) Select the Action tab at the top of the window. Select Disable device or Enable device, and then confirm. If there's more than one HID-compliant touchscreen device listed, perform steps 2–3 for that one too.
Turn the device off, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on again. This process will clear out any software errors that are causing the touchscreen to malfunction. If the touchscreen still doesn't work, remove the device's battery, if possible, wait ten seconds and then put it back in. Step 2.
If it's a hardware, then you're gonna have to get that screen replaced. Firstoff, power off your phone. Then hold down your power and volume down key. In a moment, you will see a dead android on his back, accompanied with some menu options. Use the volume keys to navigate, and the power key to select.
