God tier: Wynne High tier: Leliana Morrigan Zevran Mid tier: Shale Alistair Low tier: Oghren Dog Sten Basically Wynne is always required unless you wanna die sometimes. Leliana and Morrigan are strong all game. Zevran is kinda weak until lvl 14 when he can learn summon wolf/bear. Shale/Alistair is decent for early game but don't scale that great.
