Refilling an Air Wick automatic spray iseasy. Firstly, turn off the unit at the wall socket and make sure the battery compartment is open. Remove the empty can of Air Wick from the spray mechansim and unscrew the cap by turning it in an anti-clockwise direction.
Scent is nice but it doesn't last long, dissipates shortly after fragrance is emitted. Tested with other brand spray, while the can may fit it didn't really spray. I changed the spray nozzle of the other brand with air wick's and it actually worked. Will try other brand sprays to get the longevity of the scent. They spray air freshener every once in a while no matter what. It is extremely wasteful and obviously a marketing plan to force you to buy more. There is a solution though.
