This is a technical solution. If your PC has s-video and audio input sockets (usually on TV cards) you could make your HDD machine an s-video source for the PC card. Then the card would record to your PC hard disk. If you want to do it often you might want to get an inexpensve TV card if you dont have one - making sure it had the s-video input
