It's impossible to produce the usual DF-style PC tech review for The Last of Us Part 1 because the port launched in a bad state and hotfixes are arriving rapidly - any review would be out of date very quickly. It also uses a more saturated color palate, which makes the colors more enjoyable, whereas Part 2 is more muted. On the other hand, Part 2 showed a lot more creativity in the cinematography, which adds to the experience a lot. Even in the remake, there's nothing in Part 1 that can rival the long-shot cut scene at the start of "The Forest." 9
I changed the scaling to 0.75x, which when utilized with DLDSR 1.78x, renders the game at 3440x1440 and then upscales to 4587x1920. This maintains all the fine detail and looks better than 4587x1920 with the game's TAA, while offering much better performance. Add frame generation for even better performance. This mod is free.
